Alabama is fresh off a bye week after beating Ole Miss, 59-31. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for 418 yards and six touchdowns, pacing a Crimson Tide offense that ranks third in the nation with an average of 51.8 points per game. However, a trip to Kyle Field may not yield the same easy offensive production for the Tide.
Texas A&M comes off of a tight game last week, narrowly escaping a conference clash with Arkansas in a 31-28 victory. Texas A&M was outgained by the Razorbacks in that matchup and lost the turnover battle, but managed to come away with the win nonetheless. The Aggies two losses on the year have come against top-15 ranked opponents in Clemson and Auburn. A win over the Crimson Tide would change the outlook of their entire season.
These teams have played 11 times, with Alabama winning nine of them. Since Johnny Manziel led the Aggies to an upset win over Alabama in 2012, the Crimson Tide have won the last six meetings, each of them coming by seven points or more.
